Whitby Regatta's annual parade
WHITBY'S streets were transformed into a sea of colour as the Regatta's annual parade made its way through town.
Thousands of people lined the streets to watch the procession wind its way up to Whitby Pavilion for the judging of the fancy dress competition.
Led by the Whitby Jets Juvenile Jazz Band, the parade featured Miss Regatta Jess Nightingale, glamarous gran Anne Webb in a horse and trip, The Norton Belle Airs and hundreds of children wearing ingenious costumes.
