The week before, on Thursday 22 July, sees a public at Whitby Pavilion where local people can air their views.
Under discussion will be the three store plans currently in place - a Tesco development on land at High Stakesby; Sainsbury's in Whitby's Stainsacre Lane industrial estate; and the Co-op extension in Langborne Road.
