Snaps hold key to lost camera - CAN YOU HELP?

DO you recognise any of these people? These pictures were rescued from a camera found buried in Whitby's Tate Hill Beach.

Whitby resident Tony Miller (42) was on the beach in February with his metal detector when he discovered something.

He said: "It was something just caked in crud with some silver shining out of it.

"I got it home and it was a camera that was ruined so I managed to smash it open and get the memory card out using a lot of WD40.

"The memory on the pictures say they were taken in October 2006.

"There are 80 pictures on the card and they chart the full goth weekend from the arrival to some dark pictures on the beach at the end.

"If the people who lost the camera are reading this then I'm sure they would like to get their pictures back."

* DO you recognise anyone in these pictures or is it you?

Pop into the Whitby Gazette office at 17-18 Bridge Street to claim the card or if you can help trace its owners or call Carl Gavaghan on 829914.
