Sidecar beats bus on Lythe bank

A SIDECAR and bike manages to overtake a bus going up Lythe Bank in this old photo, right.

The spectacular view also take in the rooftops of Sandsend, the North Sea, beach and Whitby in the far background.

The photo, along with the one of the old rail track at Kettleness, above, was sent in to the Whitby Gazette by Whitby Museum.
