Search called off after missing woman found

POLICE and coastguards teams were involved in a search for a missing woman in Whitby last night.

The search began at 5.30pm and lasted for over an hour, beginning on the West Cliff before moving to the piers.

The woman was then found in Chesterfield and the search was called off.
