This school year has seen Egton and Danby primary schools working together to take on the Archie B leadership awards’.
The scheme has been launched by the Archbishop of York and using a central character, named Archie Bishop, is intended to encourage and inspire young people.
The two schools worked together on projects such as Geocaching and working with National Park rangers to clear footpaths and bridleways to allow better access.
Egton head teacher Liz Orland said: “It has been a rewarding and enjoyable project which we will continue in future.”
Each of the children who took part received certificates and badges at an awards ceremony hosted in Danby last month.
