Scarborough police have released a picture of a mountain bike stolen in the town.

It was taken from a house on Trinity Road, between 5.45am and 8am on Saturday February 1.

The bike is gun metal grey with white handlebars.

PC David Meer, of Scarborough Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you have seen the bike since it was stolen, or can help to identify the thieves, I urge you to contact the police straight away.

“I am particularly keen to speak to any second hand dealers who may have been offered it, and ask them to get in touch as soon as possible.”
