A MAN has died after a cliff fall at Whitby's Saltwick Bay last night.

Coastguard, search and rescue and an RAF helicopter were called to the incident just after 7.30pm.

It is believed a member of the public saw the fall and alerted the emergency services.

Reports suggest the man was in his mid-50s and from the Durham area.
