Literature festival tickets on sale

PEOPLE can now snap up tickets for the Scarborough Literature Festival.

This is the fourth year the festival has run and this year it will take place from 15 to 18 April.

This year's line-up has something for everyone with Phillipa Gregory, Robert Goddard, Stella Rimington, Gervase Phinn, Kathy Lette and Adele Parks among the names that will be appearing.

County Coun Chris Metcalfe, executive member for adult and community services, said: "I'm sure the Beano event will appeal to families and there is a great selection of free events for young people. It all promises to be a great festival."

Brochures with details of all of the authors and artists for the Long weekend are available now in venues throughout the borough and online at www.scarboroughliteraturefestival.co.uk

Tickets are on sale from the Tourist Information Centre in Scarborough's Brunswick Centre on (01723) 372075.
