The Hawsker man who is accused of stabbing another man outside the Hare and Hounds pub has appeared at court.
Machael Turford, 31, of Back Lane, was remanded into custody by Magistrates in Scarborough on Tuesday morning.
He is accused of the attempted murder of Gavin Watson, a 30-year-old Derbyshire man who was staying at York House Caravan Site in Hawsker.
The incident took place on Sunday evening at 10pm and Turford was arrested in the early hours of the following morning.
Turford has been charged with attempted murder, possession of a bladed weapon and driving while under the influence of alcohol.
He will appear at York Crown Court on May 1.
