Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 11:56 AMWith regards the latest accident along the BriggswathCarrs road, it was no suprize as the road has always been a great hazard to pedestrians and other road users and this was an accident waiting to happen, however, over the last few years the amount ,and size of traffic has grown ever larger. Drivers of huge lorries seem to think that there are no restrictions on speed and thunder along the road oblivious to other road users, then there are the boygirl racers, need Isay more. This area is so beautiful and people should be able to enjoy walking along here without taking their lives in their hands. I believe that Briggswath is in thecatchment area for children attending Ruswarp school, the government is encourageing children to walk to school, would you walk your small child to school along that road, no, you would drive them , thereby adding to the volume of traffic!
