Burglar kicks door down

POLICE are searching for someone who kicked the door down of a house in Church Street and stole a laptop and designer bag.

It happened between 9am and 11am on Sunday and a black Macbook Air laptop and a black Louis Vuitton briefcase were stolen during the burglary.

Detective Constable Andy Hall, of Scarborough CID, said: “It appears that whoever was responsible for this burglary had kicked the front door in while the occupant was out.

“There is a good chance that someone will have heard or seen something suspicious in the area at that time.”

Detectives want to hear from anyone who may have been offered the stolen items for sale or have any other information to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting reference number 12130003178.
