Help promote civic pride

The Government is about to publish new planning policies which could change the face of our local area for ever.

They risk biasing planning decisions and favouring new development over our quality of life.

As a member of the local civic society, we have been campaigning for a fair planning system with our national body Civic Voice and hundreds of other civic societies across England.

If you care about where you live then now is the time to do something about it.

By working together we can look after the things that matter and promote civic pride.

I am encouraging everyone who shares our aims to join the Whitby Civic Society today.

Susan Harty, Whitby Civic Society
