Grateful thanks from Marie Curie
The Christmas Marie Curie collections raised the magnificent grand total of £1,281.22.
Our grateful thanks go to all those who gave their time and money to make all this possible.
The management and staff at Lidl store, £186/04; the management, staff and Sleights Singers at Victoria Farm Garden Centre and Cafe, £216.18; the team at Golden Lion Bank and the fantastic fairground steam organ, £879.
The chocolate Santa Claus - called Icicles - was won by Daisy Storr of Sleights.
Our next efforts will be the Great Daffodil Appeal in early March when we would welcome volunteers.
Maisie Marsden, Whitby Co-ordinator, Marie Curie Cancer Care, North Yorkshire and South Teesside
