A chance to work for the young

I don’t believe that there is a single person living in Whitby, Scarborough and the surrounding area that would allow a mine or any business for that matter to destroy the national park we live in.

New potash mine assures good future for local families

Why is it when something with a prospect of employment and possible prosperity comes to the Whitby area there is always someone or some obscure group loudly making all sorts of negative comments, decrying any project, without actually looking at the bigger picture?

We all deserve a home of our own

In reply to the story, Whitby housing for Whitby-ites - yes I firmly believe that people of Whitby should be given priority to affordable homes for rent.

Did you serve with the RAF in Singapore?
