John Speight, 54, of Hoxton Road: fined £220 plus £107 costs and banned from driving for 12 months for drink-driving.

Shane Bint, 43, of Pastures Crescent, Filey: fined £100 plus £105 costs for speeding.

Gerard Peter Mawson, 43, of Norwood Street: community order made, including alcohol treatment requirement and order not to enter any Sainsbury’s store in Scarborough or the Spar on Falsgrave for six months, plus £60 costs and £19 compensation, for thefts of wine from the Spar and Sainsbury’s and failing to surrender to custody.

Joffe Paul Richland, 31, of St Mary’s Walk: community order made, including participation in Building Better Relationships programme and rehabilitation activity requirement, restraining order made and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £145 costs for assault.
