Matthew Simon Henwood, 38, of Middle Walk: fined £75 plus £140 costs for failing to keep a dog on a lead in a designated area.

Samuel Turner, 30, of Barleycroft: fined £95 plus £127 costs for fishing at Scarborough Mere without a relevant licence.

Anthony Dalton, 33, of Herdborough Road, Eastfield: community order made including 40 hours' unpaid work over 12 months, plus £100 compensation and £170 costs, for drunk and disorderly behaviour in Westborough and assaulting a police inspector.

Shane John Hare, 28, of Wain Close, Eastfield: discharged conditionally for 12 months, plus £20 costs, for drunk and disorderly behaviour in Somerset Terrace.

Nigel Anthony Proctor, 48, of Storey Close, Helmsley: community order made, including alcohol treatment requirement and 16-week curfew, plus £200 compensation, for burglary of £3,000 of jewellery from a shop.

Liam Edward Barnett, 22, of Crescent Avenue, Whitby: fined £120 plus £200 compensation and £115 costs, for damaging a £200 emergency light belonging to Milewood Healthcare.

Robert Joshua Bishop, 63, of Trinity Close: fined £80 plus £105 costs for possessing cannabis and possessing amphetamine, both class B controlled drugs.

Stanley Collins, 30, of Seamer Road: fined £300 plus £115 costs for possessing cannabis.

Stephen Michael Reilly, 49, of Trafalgar Square: community order made, including alcohol treatment requirement, fined £90 plus £170 costs and banned from driving for 24 months, for drink-driving and driving without valid insurance.

Lewis Wright, 20, of Sandgate, Whitby: fined £150 plus £105 costs and banned from driving for 16 months for drug-driving.

Adam Richard Evett, 21, of St Peters Road, Whitby: community order made, including rehabilitation activity requirement and 200 hours' unpaid work over 12 months, plus £371 compensation and £145 costs for assault, unlawfully damaging a car and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour.

Daniel Johnson, 24, of Marlborough Street: community order made, including drug rehabilitation requirement and 120 hours' unpaid work over 12 months, plus £300 compensation and £145 costs for unlawfully causing damage to a car and threatening to cause damage to a vehicle.

Gareth Rayner, 34, of Albemarle Crescent: jailed for 20 weeks suspended for 24 months, including alcohol treatment requirement and 100 hours' unpaid work over 12 months, plus restraining order made and ordered to pay £200 costs for assault.

Carl Glassell, 55, of Blands Cliff: fined £100 plus £115 costs and banned from driving for 20 months for drink-driving.
