A WHITBY tea room is providing the perfect setting for a new and exciting calender of mid-week events.
W Hamond of Church Street starts its diary of events with a ghost walk on Wednesday, which starts at 4pm at Whitby’s whalebones on the West Cliff.
With a chill in the air there is no better time to join Whitby’s famous ‘Man In Black’ as he takes you on a 75-minute tour to discover the strange and supernatural tales of murder, mystery and suspense.
The walk is followed by a warm welcome at the tea rooms at the foot of the 199 Steps where you can enjoy tea and a slice of cake from their renowned selection.
There will be an event every month in conjunction with the tea rooms up until April including a History of Whitby Jet talk, a gold and silver jewellery exchange and a search for a jewellery model.
Prices for the ghost walk are £6 for pre-bookings and £6.50 on the day, the price includes tea and cake.
Call (01947) 825668 to book tickets or call in to the tea rooms.
