Yorkshire Coast Homes has a new look in time for the New Year – the housing association is changing how it operates and how it looks.
All repairs are now being completed by a workforce managed directly by Yorkshire Coast Homes (YCH) which manages hundreds of homes across Whitby and district.
To coincide with this change, the staff will also have a new look as they will be displaying the new Yorkshire Coast Homes logo and brand that launched on Monday.
A spokesman said while it is an exciting time of change for Yorkshire Coast Homes, it says services will continue to be provided for customers as before.
Over the coming months however they should experience enhanced customer service as new ways of working take effect across the company.
This will include a system whereby customers will only have to contact one person to handle their housing queries, and more streamlined repairs procedures will take effect.
Shaun Tymon, chief executive of YCH said “This is a new era for Yorkshire Coast Homes.
“Over the last few years we’ve made great leaps to improve the services customers receive whilst playing an ever increasing role in our communities.
“The new look for Yorkshire Coast Homes identifies with both the bricks and mortar side of the business as well as the vital people and community work that we do.
“It also reflects the people we have working here and the areas we work in by being bright and vibrant and should become easily identifiable for our customers across the borough over the coming weeks and months.”
