Hospice needs volunteer drivers

ST Catherine’s Hospice is looking to recruit more drivers to help bring patients in and out of their Whitby day hospice.

The Mulgrave Crescent hospice is open every Tuesday and Thursday between 10am and 3pm and can take up to eight patients each day.

Volunteer drivers can either use their own vehicle to bring in the patients or use the charity’s own vehicle.

Anyone who feels they have a few hours to spare weekly, fortnightly or monthly is urged to contact volunteer services manager Helen Young on (01723) 351421 for more details.
