Whitby Leisure Centre is encouraging everyone to wear it pink for Breast Cancer Campaign at Wear it Pink Week from Sunday to Friday.

Throughout the week you can play a fund-raising game at reception, or make a donation in one of our collection buckets, but join in the fun and get in the pink!

Pink cancer awareness events will be taking place throughout the week, while the big pink day will be next Friday, when Whitby Leisure Centre’s Gym, Swim, Classes staff and customers will all be wearing pink in support of Breast Cancer Research.

All Exercise class coaches will be participating in Wear It Pink, but, will Easyline out do the Dancercise girls in the glamour stakes? Will the Combat Crew kick the Zumba girls into touch? You’ll have to visit the Leisure centre and participate to find out!

Wear it pink is supported by Vanish, which has committed to raising an £250,000 for the charity this year.

Manager Chris Storer said: “Wear It Pink, supported by Vanish, is a fun and simple way to raise funds for research into breast cancer, so join me next Friday and donate £2, or whatever you can afford.”
