Over half term, a large group of Fyling Hall students went on a school ski trip to Folgarida in Italy.

Itwas a wonderful holiday, even though we did have to set off at one o’clock in the morning.

We should have slept on the coach or aeroplane, but we hardly slept for excitement.

On our first day we trekked to the ski lift where we all met our instructors for the week – Giovanni, Guilia and Daniel.

Once the introductions were over, the skiing began.

After a hard day skiing, it was back to the hotel for dinner, followed by a quiz which brought out our team spirits and competitiveness even more.

The week continued along the same adventurous lines, and everyone’s skiing skills improved dramatically.

All in all, it was a really enjoyable trip, which we would recommend to anyone who enjoys thrills … and rather a lot of spills.
