The following people have been dealt with at Scarborough Magistrates’ Court (addresses Scarborough unless stated):

Jamie Michael Sweeney, 26, of Barrowcliff Road: community order made including exclusion from Peasholm Park for 36 months, participation in sex offenders programme and rehabilitation activity requirement, plus £100 compensation and £145 costs, for exposing himself.

Lee Alan Oliver, 25, of Barrowcliff Road: community order made, including rehabilitation activity requirement, fined £10 plus £60 compensation for damaging a police station front door, and breaching a conditional discharge order imposed for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour and for damaging a door.

Mary McQuade, 45, of Scalby Road: fined £160 plus £20 costs and banned from driving for 16 months for drink-driving.

Ashley Laurence Edward Palliser, 23, of Pavilion Terrace: jailed for 48 weeks plus £80 costs for several charges of theft, plus assault, breaching a restraining order and criminal damage.

Joseph Paul Marson, 34, of Muncaster Way, Whitby: community order made including 100 hours’ unpaid work over 12 months, plus £145 costs and banned from driving for 12 months, for taking a vehicle without consent which was then involved in damage to other property, failing to stop after an accident, failing to report an accident, driving without a valid licence

and driving without valid insurance.

Mike Hailwood Porter, 28, of Young Back Lane, Kirkbymoorside: fined £260 plus £111 costs and banned from driving for 18 months for drink-driving.

Patrick Kevin Shannon, 34, of Endcliff Crescent: fined £80 plus £105 costs for assaulting a police officer.

Djamel Benrejdal, 48, of Hay Brow Crescent, Scalby: community order made including 100 hours’ unpaid work over 12 months, plus £145 costs, for

assault.

Karl Mitchell, 26, of Manor Road: community order made including rehabilitation activity requirement, plus fined £40 with £145 costs for theft of perfume from Debenhams.

Andrew Pryor, 63, of Spreight Lane Steps: jailed for four weeks suspended for 12 months, plus three-month curfew and £250 compensation, for knowingly giving a false alarm to the fire and rescue authority, sending a message that was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character, and breaching a conditional discharge order.

Dudley George Hollis, 60, of Seaview Crescent: ordered to pay £271.80 compensation for damaging a cycle.

Lee Mark Lawrence Hellowell, 27, of Westborough: community order made including 60 hours’ unpaid work over 12 months, plus £145 costs, for assault.

Daniel Coleman, 26, of St Martin’s Square: jailed for 26 weeks plus £80 costs for unlawfully having a carving knife in a public place, failing to surrender to custody and breaching a community order imposed for two charges of assaulting a police officer, resisting a police officer, and assault.

Jamie Shaun Craven, 25, of Ash Grove, Filey: discharged conditionally for six months, plus £100 costs, for possessing cannabis and failing to surrender to custody.

David Michael Fallows, 25, of Springhill Lane: community order made, including rehabilitation activity requirement and 100 hours’ unpaid work over 12 months, plus £60 costs, for drunk and disorderly behaviour, resisting a police officer, and breaching community orders imposed for failing to surrender to custody and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour.

Andrew Mark Flower, 32, of Lowfield, Eastfield: jailed for 30 weeks plus £80 costs for theft of £324 clothing from Debenhams, theft of charity bags, criminal damage, committing an offence during a suspended sentence period which was imposed for thefts, and breaching a conditional discharge imposed for possessing diazepam and several thefts of toys and Blu-Ray DVDs.

Malcolm Ian Wood, 49, of Red Scar Drive: fined £625 plus £148 costs and banned from driving for 15 months for drink-driving.
