Family baker offers free dough to local organisations

WARBURTONS the baker is offering local community groups a £500 grant to help members get active.

The Activate! fund is aimed at promoting healthy, active lifestyles in Yorkshire as part of an ongoing commitment to supporting the region and helping to improve family life.

Tom Sugden, from Warburtons Yorkshire, said: “We are committed to supporting local groups which aim to encourage healthy, active lifestyles.

“We are aware that there are already many groups and associations doing a great job wich may need a helping hand in funding their activities.

“So, whether you are a toddler or pensioner group, a hockey team or dance troupe, we would urge you to get in touch to tell us how Warburtons can help you.”

Group leaders can apply for grants of up to £500 to Emma Franklin by emailing emma@greencomms.com or by post to Warburtons Activate! fund, C/O Green Communications, 19 King Street, Wakefield, WF1 2SQ.

Applications must specify the equipment required, the benefits of the donation and the cash amount needed in less than 300 words by 1 April.
