A long-awaited play park opened its gates to excited children in the town’s Byland Road area last week.
The park was officially opened last week by Stakesby ward borough councillors Jane Kenyon and David Chance.
It replaces the original play area on the site which was removed when new houses at Harrowing Drive were built.
The design for the play area built by contractors Cleveland Land Services, was inspired by pupils from Stakesby School who gave their ideas for how it should look.
Steve Reynolds from the borough council said: “We are delighted to be able to open the new play area and hope that it will be of real benefit for people of the Stakesby community.”
