Thieves have once again targeted a row of Victorian jetworkers’ cottages in Whitby.
Following on from last Thursday’s break-in, another burglary has taken place on Aelfleda Terrace.
The latest break-in occurred sometime between 6.40pm on Saturday April 26 and 2.30pm on Monday April 28 when offenders forced entry at the rear of the cottage.
Officers are appealing to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incidents to get in touch.
The initial burglary saw three holiday cottages broken into, although police were uncertain as to whether any items had actually been taken.
Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for PC Neil Graham or Whitby police.
