TWO incidents of damage being caused to parked cars have been reported to police in the space of two days.
The first one took place in the Church Street car park and happened between 6pm and 11pm on Thursday 14 July.
Police say the front passenger side wing of a red 51 registration Ford Fiesta was scratched with a “sharp implement”.
The second happened between 9pm on Friday and 11.15am on Saturday. The rear passenger door of a Ford Mondeo parked on Park Terrace had been damaged and police say it was consistent with someone being pushed into it.
And on 13 July a VW Golf had the wheel nut covers stolen from it some time between 12.30pm and 4.30pm while it was parked in the car park at Grosmont.
