BURGLARS have broken into an Esk Valley school and stolen computer equipment.
The break-in happened at Glaisdale Primary School between Friday 25 March and Sunday 27 March.
The thieves had attempted to get into a side building but eventually gained access to the main school premises by removing a small window at the back of the school.
At least three laptops were stolen.
Head teacher Ros Argile said a member of staff found out about the burglary on Sunday morning.
She said the incident was “very unfortunate” for the school but sadly opportunists do target schools.
