Airy Hill Nursery, which opened this September to look after the needs of two, three and four year olds, has got off to a flying start.

The nursery was previously known as Pebbles Play group and Endeavour Tots, but this term the school lowered its age range to two and incorporated both providers so can now offer straight through education from two-year-olds to 11-year-olds.

Jim Lidgley, headteacher at Airy Hill Community Primary School, said: “All the children have settled in really quickly and enjoy exploring a great range of activities both in the indoor and our large outdoor areas.

“We have been busy baking, mark making, going on an Autumn Walk in our woodland area and making lots of new friends.

“If you would like to find out more please contact Mrs Kerry Payne, our early years team leader.”
