Whitby's overseas ace Jono Chapman played a starring role in his side's North Yorkshire South Durham Division One win by seven wickets against Stokesley 2nds.
Chapman returned figures of 6-31, while Chris Lyth grabbed 3-20 as Stokesley were bowled out for a total of just 57.
Theo Clark hit 19 in the response, while an unbeaten 18 from Fin Morris made sure of the victory for Whitby.
Whitby 2nds lost out by 19 runs against Shildon Railway in Division Two.
The Whitby side looked to be on track as Shildon were bowled out for just 110.
Andrew Marshall took 5-32, while there were two wickets each for Andrew Menzies and Mark Jackson.
Whitby crumbled in the reply, with the first six batsmen failing to reach double figures.
There was a late rally from Will Richardson, who hit 29, but Shildon cleaned things up with plenty of time remaining.
