Forget Whitby’s whalebones on the West Cliff - a new pair made of chocolate are set to attract hoardes of visitors to a shop in the town.

Chocolatier Lee Barton who runs Justin’s shop in Church Street has hand crafted a metre high pair of whalebones to display in the window.

Lee (27) started at working at the store aged 12 working for its founder Justin Coope who died last year. Lee said: “I woke up and thought about doing a Whitby window. I am going to do the abbey out of chocolate next and then do a treasure chest and another chocolate coffin. People take a lot of photos of the window and are quite impressed.”
