A NORTH Yorkshire tractor club has held its annual working day and donated the proceeds to St Catherine’s Hospice.

The North Yorkshire Moors Vintage Machinery Club hosted the event at Beacon Farm, Sneaton, in October and raised £4,455.58. A cheque was presented to Amanda Welburn from St Catherine’s Hospice at the tractor club’s annual ploughing match, held in Staithes on Saturday 12 November.

The club would like to offer their thanks to all who support their events and reserved special praise to Mike and Zoe Shardlow of Beacon Farm.
