Red light for traffic changes

PLANS to make East Crescent two way to traffic have been kicked into touch by Whitby Town Council.

The town improvement committee discussed North Yorkshire County Council’s plans to change parking and traffic regulations around the town at its meeting on Monday night.

Coun Phil Trumper said: “It will be more confusing. People will think they can go down East Crescent and down the Khyber Pass.”
