Emulate II named boat of the week

Emulate II is the Fishing News boat of the week

Whitby trawler Emulate II is this week’s Fishing News boat of the week.

The 15.95 metre vessel is skippered by Howard Locker and was built by Parkol Marine in 2004.

Manned by a crew of four, including skipper Locker – who has been fishing for 37 years - the vessel has a steel hull and can carry five tonnes of ice and 250 boxes of fish. The profile of Emulate II in the Fishing News follows Our Lass II, also run by Locker’s Trawlers, which was boat of the week in December.

The Fishing News is published by Intrafish and is the weekly newspaper for the British fishing fleet.
