The National Gullery were put on alert after some street art of a different kind was spotted in Whitby.

These bird droppings, which appear to resemble the shape of a seagull, were spotted on the pavement at the bottom of the cliff steps near the whalebone arches by Michael Maynard.

The winged Warhol was said to be waiting his ‘tern’ in a local coastal exhibition.
