A Miss Scarborough and District hopeful took part in a North Sea dip on Sunday to raise funds for charity.

Becky Noble (pictured above wearing pink polkadots), of Ruswarp, was joined by staff at Kristy’s Beauty Salon in raising funds for Beauty With A Purpose, a charity which aids developing world children who suffer from severe disabilities. Miss Noble (24) said: “With the NHS, it makes me feel quite grateful that if we ever have any problems they get it done straight away. But this is not always the case in other countries so I really wanted to help.” A prize raffle is also taking place at Kristy’s Beauty Salon.
