Children at Airy Hill Nursery have been busy in their first few weeks back at school, celebrating the nursery’s first birthday.
The youngsters enjoyed making and decorating cakes to mark a year since Airy Hill
School lowered its age range to two. They now offer funded and non-funded places for two, three and four-year-olds for up to 30 hours a week.
The nursery had a very successful first year with children enjoying growing lots of different fruits, vegetables and plants, exploring the changes in seasons in the school’s woodland area and taking part in a wide range of engaging activities in the indoor and large outdoor area.
If anyone would like more information about the sessions, contact Early Years Leader Mrs Payne and arrange a visit.
