A DRUNKEN argument with his girlfriend landed a man in hospital in the early hours of Sunday.
The man was arguing with his girlfriend outside Porto Pizza in Windsor Terrace at 2.50am.

He punched and smashed the window in the door of the shop.

The 21-year-old was seen by police in Langborne Road heading towards the town centre leaving a trail of blood.

Police administered first aid as he had a serious cut to his wrist and he told them he had punched the window in anger. They called an ambulance and he was taken to Scarborough Hospital.
