YOUNGSTERS from Sleights School took part in a world record breaking challenge along with thousands of children from across the country.

The children marched around the school field in glorious sunshine at 10am on Wednesday in an attempt to break the record for the largest ever 'walking bus', while also encouraging drivers to slow down.
The nationwide Giant Walking Bus event was for the largest ever 'walking bus', while also encouraging drivers to slow down.
It was co-ordinated by the national road safety charity Brake and was sponsored by Jet.
The event aimed to raise awareness of the significant number of children killed or injured while walking.
It also helped raise funds for the charity's work supporting families bereaved and affected by road crashes.
More than 135,000 children around the UK simultaneously including the pupils from Sleights – 15,000 more than last year, easily breaking the record.
Headteacher Caroline Spencer said: "It was part of a bid to break the world record to enter the Guinness Book of Records for the most children at a set time of 10am to walk together for a set distance of 500m.
Schools from around England took part and evidence was collected along with sponsor money and sent to Brake.
"This is our second year and we are hoping to help smash the record of the previous years."
