POLICE and scenes of crimes officers were called to a house in Whitby on Friday morning following the sudden death of a 55-year-old man.
Police were alerted at 7.50am to the property in Stakesby Vale and an ambulance was also called but a spokeswoman for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said the man was already dead when they arrived.

Police do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances and are not looking for anyone else in connection with the man's death.
