A MISSING man has been found dead in his van in Whitby.
The man had been reported as missing from his Northumbria home on Tuesday and was believed to be in the Whitby area.
Officers conducted a search of car parks and caravan parks in the area.
In the early hours of Wednesday morning, a van believed to belong to the missing man was found in Windsor Terrace in Whitby, with the dead man inside.
The cause of death is unknown and police have not yet released any details as to the man’s identity.
