WHITBY Coastguard and the inshore lifeboat were called out to assist a jet skier on Tuesday night.
The 22-year-old man had experienced difficulties when he came off his jetski off Whitby’s West Cliff beach.

He was picked out of the water by a passing vessel but was unhurt.

The jetski drifted off and smashed against rocks.

The man did not require medical treatment.
