Elderly man is injured in fall

AN elderly man visiting from Nottingham was taken to hospital after falling awkwardly in Whitby on Tuesday.
The incident happened on Bridge Street just before noon when the man fell and hurt is ankle and cut his lip.

An ambulance was sent and he was taken to Whitby Hospital to be checked over.
