RURAL Whitby woke up to a covering of snow yesterday as a white Christmas arrived a fortnight late.
Glaisdale and Danby took the brunt of the snow with drivers allowing added time to get to work in the morning.
It is forecast to snow again tomorrow although The Met Office says it is unlikely to be for very long.
