A WHITBY caravan park owner hanged himself after suffering personal problems following the break up of his marriage and shock death of his father.
Michael Archer (46), who ran the Sandfield House caravan park, in Sandsend Road, with wife Fiona, was found at his home in November.

Scarborough County Court heard prior to his death, Mr Archer had split up from his partner and was experiencing problems after the death of his father, who he “idolised”.

Coroner Michael Oakley said: “Clearly that from the circumstances that he was found, this was a deliberate act and I record a verdict that he killed himself.”
