ROBBERS with an axe carried out a terrifying Hallowe'en raid at Castleton Post Office.
The thieves, who wore skull masks similar to those from the film Scream and camouflage clothing, ordered the assistant to give them money out of the till.

The shop assistant handed over bags of change amounting to less than £200 before the robbers fled across High Street on foot just after 3pm on Friday.

Sgt Steve Pearse of Whitby Police condemned the robbery and said it must have been a terrifying ordeal

l POLICE have arrested two teenagers from the Cleveland area.

The youths have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
