children's author James David will be doing book-signing sessions for his latest masterpiece in Whitby over the weekend.
Squibbitz-2 is his latest book and he will sign copies at The Whitby Bookshop in Church Street between 11am and 4pm each day.

The book, which is the second of his Squibbitz series, seems to be following the success of his four-part Aqua Crysta fantasy series which is set beneath the North York Moors.

He said: “This time, instead of exploring magical, crystal caverns beneath the moors near Whitby, we discover what lies under the weirdest junior school in the world.”

The first book in the Squibbitz series was short-listed for the Yorkshire East Coast Book of the Year for Children Award, so Mr David is hoping he may have a similar success with the second in the series.
