VANDALS smashed up Whitby's Khyber Pass ladies' toilets.
The damage occurred at 9am on Bank Holiday Monday.
They smashed off the toilets’ front door lock and ripped off the waste piping on all four sinks. They also broke two metal toilet roll holders.

evelopment officer, said: “The vandals broke into the toilets by smashing the lock on the metal security gate.
“There was a fair bit of damage done to the under sink pipework and a couple of toilet roll holders were set on fire.
“The approximate cost of the repairs is £350. Once again, it is such a shame a mindless minority see fit to vandalise the toilets with the cost of the repairs ultimately being borne by the council tax payer.”
Mr Thompson said the majority of the repair work has already been completed and rest was expected to be done last Friday.
It is not the first time the toilets in Khyber Pass have been hit by vandals.
In November 2006, arsonists caused £10,000 of damage to the toilets when they poured petrol onto paper and set alight four cubicles in the ladies’ toilets.
Extensive smoke damage coated the walls, fixtures and fittings in a thick covering of black soot and firefighters had to smash windows in the building to let in air.
Scarborough Council had to get structural engineers in to assess the building as well as having to pay thousands of pounds for the toilets to be cleaned and re-painted.
