Snapper gives talk to society

A professional landscape and architectural photographer will be giving the latest talk to a Whitby society.

John Potter from York will be giving the talk called Creating and marketing landscape images on Thursday 29 November at 6.45pm in the Normanby Room at Whitby’s Pannett Art Gallery.

The event is for Whitby Photographic Society but non-members are welcome, admission £2.

John produces fine art images for the media, publishing, businesses and individuals.

With more than 25 years’ experience, he is widely published, particularly in this region.

He has produced a large number of regional landscape books and has a successful greeting card range which is sold in retail outlets throughout Yorkshire.

He also runs a wide variety of photography workshops and courses throughout northern Britain, including one day workshops on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway as well as teaching digital photography evening class courses and other workshops.
