EARLY risers will catch a glimpse of the world’s biggest cruise liner as it passes by the Yorkshire Coast.

The Queen Mary 2 is taking part in a Round Britain voyage and will sail through Whitby waters on Monday 19 September at around 7.15am.

The vessel is longer than the Eiffel Tower, carries 2,620 passengers and cruised off the Whitby coast in 2009.
